Books that will have me stunned and floored?

Hi, I'm looking for some books to read that will really grip me. The last two books I read that I thought were amazing were The Secret Life of Addie Larue by V.E. Schwab and Supermarket by Bobby Hall.

I really want some books that will really shock me by the end. Books that just have you totally stunned and have to take a bit to absorb when you're done.

I've been trying to find books that have a hold on me and make me want to binge since reading those two but it's been like two or three years since I've read those and I just can't seem to find any that hit the spot.
I'm pretty open to any genre, as well as YA and Adult books as well.
