In a rut, need a great Suspense, any subgenre, that has some unexpected plots or good twist ending

Im just looking for a great page turner that's a mystery/suspense or thriller that has some really good unexpected plots or secrets or twists something similar to a Shutter Island which is one of the first books I actually read cover to cover lol. I do really like Harlan Coben and Connelly and Grisham but I want to get away from the police procedural if possible. Dean Koontz is good a little bit too much on the fantasy side of things for me at times though. A great author suggestion would be nice that I can get into, Tana French is someone I just got into ahew really good. Genre doesn't really mean that much as long as it's a great story that I can't predict lol. Thank you I'm advance!

Also is "Hidden Pictures" by Jason Rekulak
any good? I was going to put a hold on that one at my local library…thanks again!
