Hi, I don't want to give my age away but I'm around the ages between (14-16) and I want to read one of these series but I don't know which series to start with. I know these books a very different in their own way but which book series should I start reading first?

      Depends on what you’re into.

Harry Potter, I might vote for just because you might age out of it if you wait too long. The first few books are aimed a little younger with the last few being more for the 14 – 16 age group.

As for Hunger Games and Twilight, it depends on what you’re into. Do you want an action book or a drama one? Hunger Games is more action, Twilight is more drama. I will say that the Hunger Games is much better written than Twilight though.

The Hunger Games is definitely the best quality writing of the three. I’d start there. Start with the original trilogy then move on to the Ballad of the Songbirds and Snakes then Sunrise on the Reaping.

I agree with the comment saying to read HP because the first ones are closest to your age and you might not enjoy them as much as you get older. I always enjoy them but some people can’t look past them being written for young readers.

I read the hunger games when it came out around your age and was OBSESSED.

But read all three! So start with HP, then hunger games, then twilight.

I would recommend Hunger Games — most recent, most relevant today, best for actual teenagers (HP, especially the first books, skews really young), and doesn’t have the same kind of weird bigotry baggage as HP and Twilight.

Hunger Games and Harry Potter. Not a fan of Twilight, though I do not hate it either.
