Hi everyone!
I'm looking for a book that takes place in Egypt, within the fantasy category if possible but I wouldn't mind if it belongs to another.
Context here: I've recently read the "Secrets of the Nile" duology and it left me completely dissapointed. I had such high hopes for this story, since it was promoted as a "Death on the Nile meets The Mummy" story and I absolutely loved the movie from 1999. Sadly, it didn't meet my expectations at all while leaving me with a craving for another story with similar vibes.
I'd be really grateful if someone could suggest me a book that may fit what I'm looking for, if it exists.

Elizabeth Peters wrote a huge series set in Egypt. The Amelia Peabody series, it might be worth looking into.
I don’t know how old you are but I LOVED the Theodosia Throckmorton series as a teenager. The main character is very similar to a child version of Weisz from The Mummy, and it’s set in the same period
