Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand-the story of a former Olympic track star turned WW2 Pilot. Absolutely incredible story.
Elon Musk by Walter Isaacson – made me start to really dislike him before everyone else especially how he treated his ex wife.

For me, Matthew Perry’s Friends, Lovers, And The Big Terrible Thing changed how I viewed not only him, but addiction in general. I didn’t know much about him before, other than that he was Chandler. He’s by no means a perfect person (or close to it) but I really liked his book, I felt like it was honest and he acknowledges times he sucked. It made me see addiction more for the mental illness it is. It humanized him in the way celeb memoirs always try to.
The Spare by Prince Harry, however, made me see Harry much worse. I liked him and Meghan, but after reading this I was, I wasn’t a fan anymore. He’s been through a lot and did have real struggles, but this book was so weird at points. He spent such a long time talking about his military experience (which I found really boring ngl), and he talked about some of his past bad decisions that were… bad bad. >! I didn’t know about the Nazi costume he wore until I read this. also the book started with him complaining that he had the smaller room in his castle, which was’t a great start imo !<

Putting it Together by James Lapine made me appreciate the musical Sunday in the Park With George even more, knowing what kind of effort he and Sondheim put into bringing the thoughts of artists to life

Not EXACTLY a memoir but semi autobiographical: [Play It as It Lays by Joan Didion](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/428.Play_It_As_It_Lays) made me really curious to learn more about her as I felt like I related to the MC so much.

Then I watched her movie [The Panic in Needle Park](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067549/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk) and became EVEN MORE obsessed ..
But .. THEN I read her memoir [The Year of Magical Thinking](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7815.The_Year_of_Magical_Thinking) and the constant name dropping and her thinking she knew better than the Drs treating her husband REALLY turned me off ☹️
