Hey r/booksuggestions,
just came across this subreddit and it seemed like a good place to recommend a book that I read 2 years ago that absolutely changed my life.
I had severe anxiety not too long ago and it absolutely ruined me. You can read more about my story in the other subreddits that I posted where I try to motivate other people with anxiety to start fighting it.
The book is called The Invisible Firewall written by Brian Garson. It's a short read about 80 pages and it consists of real life exercises and rituals to overcome anxiety.
It also not just for anxiety if you wish to improve your social skills it could probably come in handy.
But my main goal is to spread Anxiety Awareness and to help the people out. Just know that you are never alone and meds and expensive psychiatrist doesn't always have to be the answer. You can make that change and fight it.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a read. I only started trying to manage my anxiety with books recently. First book is Dale Carnegie, How to stop worrying and start living, it’s pretty decent. Im not sure what else is out there so I appreciate seeing recommendations from real people like this
