Recommend me a book that would keep me busy analyzing for indirect meanings

I really enjoy romance and especially chinese historical mythology. But these days i want to get back into analyzation of books like how i did back in AUSMAT. I feel like this skill i strengthened throughout the year is quite useful. For some background, i used 'The shock of the Fall' by nathan filer for my chosen novel. It was extremely fun analyzing and crafting paragraphs upon paragraphs of hidden meanings and subtle motives. Anyone that's like me?

This time i would prefer not too much of a heavy topic. I bet this request is quite vague and weird haha
