**title should be: Looking for books published more than 10 years ago
Did some math (or rather asked AI to find publication years and do some math for me lol) and figured out that ~83% of the books I’ve read (since I started keeping track in 2019) have been published in the last 10 years. So I want to get some recommendations for books published prior to 2015! Don’t care how far back you go, but I do tend to struggle with the language used in literature written like prior to 1950 (generally speaking).
Honestly I’m kind of picky. Please no fantasy or sci-fi, no magical realism, nothing dystopian, and no series.
I really like literary fiction, esp. character-driven and about multi-generational families, memoirs, and (standalone) graphic novels.
