Hey, I recently finished land of the beautiful dead by R Lee Smith and really enjoyed it, althought I didn't like how indifferent the male protagonist appeared at some times. Can anyone suggest books in a similar setting (she comes to his place / ist taken there) and doesn't want to stay, but he would do anything to keep her? Thanks in advance 🙂
