Hello, all.
A friend and I are going to try to do a sort of pseudo book club where we each read the same book and then discuss it. Neither of us read too much, so we’re not sure what to get.
We’ve agreed that we’d both like a fiction novel between 100-150 pages and nothing too serious. Both of us have a fairly good vocabulary and like reading between the lines.
I appreciate any recommendations you may have, and have a good one.

Comfort Me With Apples by Catherynne M. Valente
Reads like a fairy tale gone wrong. You’ll finish it in one sitting and want to talk about it immediately. It’s clever, unsettling, and kind of genius.
