I’m trying to read more, but med school attention span + 5-minute breaks isn’t helping.
I need books with short, tight chapters that still give me that dopamine hit even if I only read two sections a day. Bonus if there’s an audiobook, since I sometimes scribble on my tablet during commutes or downtime (shoutout to the ESR Geo Pencil, I can switch tasks mid-note with a tap, which weirdly helps me not lose track of ideas).
Looking for anything that doesn’t punish me for stepping away for a day or two. Humor and dry wit are welcome too! Big emotions, but not big word counts.
So, what are your favorite “read it while microwaving lunch” books?
