So I want to read a book that's similar to the story of your Letter/연의 편지 (it's an manhwa/webtoon, and you can read it COMPLETELY FOR FREE in Webtoon.)
I found the story so intriquing, heart-wrenching and beautiful!
The specific things I LOVE about the manhwa is that there's a sort of 'mystery' and a hint of fantasy/unexplained magic in it, that makes it so special! I'm also a sucker angst and friendships, and the gut-wrenching beautiful friendship between Eugene Park and Yeon Jung is what I love to see! The letters also just made it so good, the way Sori looked for them was one of my favourite things! I just really love the whole thing and I've reread it so many times!! And the CHARACTERS. SO 3-DIMENSIONAL AND RELATABLE.
THINGS I LOOK FOR IN THE SUGGESTIONS:
– friendship (especially close friends!!)
– angst
– drama
– bullying (optional, but I find it interesting especially for character and relationships' developement.)
– writing letters between characters (optional, but preferred)
– SECRET MESSAGES (I LOVE THIS ONE!!)
– realistic and compelling characters, preferrably children/teen/younger adults as the main cast but it can be adults too.
– mystery (that unravels with the plot)
