Did you read all the Rick Riordan books? There’s a series on Greek gods, Roman, Norse and Egyptian too I think.

I’ve been recommending the Tyme series by Megan Morrison to everyone I know. They’re the smartest, most inventive fairytale retellings I’ve ever read.
There are three books in the series and they’re all brilliant (there were originally supposed to be more books, but the existing stories are complete and self-contained).

Anthony Horowitz’ Alex Rider series, or the CHERUB series by Robert Muchamore. Action/crime/mystery/sci-fi at times but mostly the former 3.
Black and blue magic by Snyder,
Wolf Hollow by Wolk,
By the great Horn spoon
The Mysterious Benedict Society series by Trenton Lee Stewart
[Nevermoor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/6a6d5ca1-b2f5-47be-828c-018144d3bbc7) by Jessica Townsend!! It’s my favorite series even as an adult, and the only one that makes me feel the way the Harry Potter books used to.
