I read the first 2 ACOTAR books, and found them to be okay. Not the best fantasy, but okay. I’ve had trouble finishing books lately, so I decided I would follow through with this series no matter what. But man, this third book seems like it’s nothing but throbbing muscles and smut every other paragraph. It’s hard to get through.
I’m less than halfway through it, but does it stay like this for the rest of the series? Some steaminess is good, but it seems like it’s just all the time. I want more plot. And people love it! The reviews are just so overwhelmingly positive that I’m questioning my own opinion.
