I'm talking in 2 particular ways, 1st, something like "Shop of souls" or "Wandering Inn" where the mc is an absolute being in their own building and people go to them for whatever their building is for and avoid conflict related to the building (though the shop of souls did it really badly and the wandering inn didn't do it until later). The second one I'm more interested in is basically true immortal or strong travelers as they travel to different nations, worlds, and different cultures and can get involved or not but aren't affected by the conflicts happening in their world with a preference of "time slipping by" where the mc is immortal and watch nations rise and fall. This specific one I've only seen "Unliving" do it exactly, and "Marketplaces and Multiverses" do it but not exactly.
Now, I'll have to mention several things, please don't suggest cultivation stories because those are extremely stagnant, full of pointless conflict, and the culture is *extremely* stupid and immortality doesn't really matter when everyone else can become immortal anyway. And also another thing to point out "mc avoids conflict" is not the same as "mc isn't affected by conflict". Also, I'd prefer the genre to focus on high fantasy.
I should also mention that I've read a *lot* of stories on RoyalRoad, so I'm looking for something out of it because I doubt someone can recommend something from it within a reasonable timeframe.
I'm also looking for a fairly long read, I don't really want to read a single book (around 500 kindle pages as a measurement I consider a "single book"), so light novels are priority since those typically have several hundred to thousand chapters
On amazon, only kindle unlimited support, I don't have enough money to spend on books, especially since I go through a thousand kindle book pages per day on average, so I'd prefer free books or books I can get with a "plan" like kindle unlimited.
Not looking for grimdark, endless war, psychological, mystery, basically anything that feels depressing or feels surreal, I already have depression, I don't need to read a story that causes it (think it more slice of life than action)
