Hey I'm looking for some non fiction book recommendations for my age, what do you think is most important to learn at this age and what should I read? I do want to read something similar to science, the environment , mental health, skepticism or self help
I just finished reading Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport and Philosophies of Self Discipline by Peter Hollins. Moreover, I recently became atheist a few days ago 😂
So something similar to that find me a good book lol or die trying

What kind of environment topics do you like? Plants, animals, water, etc? What kind of science interests you?
I didn’t finish them when I was 15-16-ish, but I have two I picked up from NASA that I have on my TBR.
* **How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming***,* by Mike Brown, the astronomer most responsible for the reclasification of Pluto from planet to dwarf planet
* **The Science of Harry Potter: How Magic Really Works**, by Roget Highfield, meant to look at the scientific principles, theories, and assumptions of that world.
* I read **7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens**, by Sean Covey when I was about 13-14. It has been since updated to have a couple more modern things, like cellphones being mentioned more as opposed to other distractions from 17-18 years ago. If you think that’s too meh, you can replace this with T**he 7 Habits of Highly Effective People**, written by Stephen Covey, which is the original book and the author is the dad of the author or the teen version. It’s meant for adults, though it’s the same principle. It’s not exactly self-help, I’m not much for those books, but it does give the habits you should practice to grow as a person.
* Also, there’s **The last Lecture**, by Randy Pausch, a professor of computer science, human-computer interaction, and design. He tells about imporant events in his life and how these events either brought him closer to achieving his childhood dreams or taught him valuable lessons. This was a book he wrote when he found out he had terminal cancer, as a way to keep his family taken care of when he was gone.
