Help me pick our next bookclub read!

I'm next in line to pick a book of the month for our bookclub and I need help! The past two books we've read were great but had really depressing topics, so we need a palate cleanser. When I look online all I can find are romance novels, which none of us are into. Any recommendations??
We're mostly looking for something that's easy to read and possibly with a happy ending/ funny plot but anything that won't make me want to curl up into a ball and cry for 3 days straight would be a good start 🙂
