Books on the First Vietnam War (French Intervention), Dutch “Police Actions” in Indonesia and Other wars in SEA

Doing research for a project and need non fiction pref peer reviewed or respected works on it, English preferably but im looking at /learning Dutch or French for university transfer so doesn't matter too much.
