Old parenting books

Hi, I hope some of you can help me with a research paper. I am searching for older parenting books (1950s-1990s). I am trying to see how the attitude towards children has changed throughout the decades and see the shift in popularity go from the authoritarian to permissive style. Do you know any parenting books that were considered "the bible" for parents in any of those decades?
