YOU and Psycho but Joe and Norman are women

So when I watch a show and
enjoy it, I like to read the book if there is one. Game of Thrones, Sex and the City, All the Light We Cannot See… and lately I have been watching Bates Motel, which caused me to look into Psycho, I also finished the last season of YOU last night, so I'm sensing a theme coming along in my list of books to read.

anyway, i want a similar story but where the deranged main character is a woman. It's okay if it doesn't have a movie or show, do you guys have any suggestions? If shes a serial killer of sorts that fits, someone that has a complicated thought process and maybe tries to justify her actions. Maybe it's a revenge novel, that could be interesting! She can be quite vile in her head like Joe or navigating murder she truly thinks she didn't commit like Norman.
