Hello! I want get into reading as my title says, but I'm not really sure how to find books i might like. So I have turned to reddit yet again. Here's a list of media/themes I enjoy so you can get an idea of what I might like (fair warning, its mostly anime):

I really liked the planet of the apes trilogy

I haven't watched it yet but I like the world of the walking dead

Steins;Gate is one of my absolute favorite shows ever

Your name. Is not only my favorite anime but also my favorite film of all time

I've been enjoying Re:Zero

Erased is an easy 10/10

I play a lot of dnd

I really enjoy the Witcher

Bleach

I like romance (not smut)

I love si-fi stuff

Dandadan

I love cool power systems

Badass and/or bone chiling villains
always get me

I like really emotional stuff

stuff where the protagonist goes through hell

Impactful or powerful stories

Great twists (especially if they can pull off something like Steins;Gate where the entire tone of the story just shifts drastically)
