Sweet romance book with the most pining and satisfying ending?

For context, I don’t really venture into romance books (due to poor experience a while back) but I would like to explore new genres. However I have almost zero knowledge about this area and am looking for recommendations.

I’m open to any type of romance/backstory/plot as long as the characters are realistic and have a healthy relationship and a happy ending. Bonus points for friends-to-lovers!
