The Goonies but make it horror?

I was wondering if anyone could suggest me a book that has Goonies vibes like a pirate treasure hunt but darker; less Spielberg more Riley Sager? I love horror, mystery, thriller, etc… but open to anything really.
I feel like this is a very bad description of the vibes I have in my head sorry! Thanks in advance for any suggestions 🙂
