book recs based off these books? even though they arent all the same genre, i just love the style of writing

my favorite books are “its kind of a funny story” by ned vizzini, “how we named the stars” by andrés n ordorica, and “the fault in our stars” by john green

i preferably would like to read a romance book, but i love a sad or edginess to it. i don’t want just pure cheese or smut.
