Dark humour/candidly honest memoirs

I'm looking for books that are similar to books by:

My Parents Went Through the Holocaust and All I Got Was This Lousy Tshirt

I know there are loads more that I've read because I love the genre but they've all escaped me now. Has anyone got any non-fiction memoirs or essay collections that they really enjoyed? I prefer dark humour about trauma etc, but am also interested in books that are a bit heavier with less comedy. Not sure I'm explaining myself very well!
