So I’m an English Lit MA student and am currently in the midst of finding readings for my over-summer Dissertation. I’m going to be writing on H.P Lovecraft and specifically his (and other writer’s) influence on the 2015 video game Bloodborne.
I was just wondering if anyone had any short stories/authors/books/articles/critics that delve into cosmic horror and could fit to read for it?
I was thinking Blackwood and Machen too — can anyone tell me what is their most sorta…cosmic horror-y tale? (also the King in Yellow ofc).
This isn’t necessarily to cite but just to read for inspiration! If you’re familiar with the game too and know any works that are similar that would be fab!
