Books Similar to Carnage Island by Lexi C. Foss (Shifter Romantasy)

Hey everyone! I'm looking for books similar to Carnage Island by Lexi C. Foss. I've read the other books in the Reject Island series and they all fell severely short. I want to find things similar in the sense that it's a shifter romance with plenty of open door spice that doesn't detract from an awesome storyline. I don't mind if it's a standalone or a series.

I only ask that there is NO type of s/a. Mentioning it is fine, but seeing it happen on page is not. I just read a book where the author did that without warning and boy was I mad.
