Hello there,
I love reading since I learned to do it as a kid and my tastes vary from classics to detective novels, SFF and historical novels and would like to offer some books to my mom, 67 years old, that she could like. Since my mom is retired, she happens to read way more and she mostly likes contemporary books.
Recently, she read and loved all Anne of Green Gables series and Lucinda Riley's books, but I don't really know much about contemporary fiction and she's not a big fan of SFF books so I don't know what to recommend to her and she's a bit picky.
I was wondering about buying her The Apothecary Diaries first novel, since she was a doctor and may like the enigmas and the historical settings. But I don't know, I'm afraid she may not like it (I read all the novels and liked them). Did your moms ever read it and like it? Are you a mom and loved it?
Do you have books similar to Lucinda Riley's to recommend to me?
Thank you for your help!
