Captivating books that also help you learn

I want to read a few books that teach you stuff, but in a more subtle way
It can be fiction and have a plot, but some sort of knowledge partaking

Be it just throughout the story learning small facts about historical people, about science ,vocabulary anything

But not something purely educative, I want to have a fun time reading them as well.

(To give a semi relevant answer, percy jackson as a child taught me a lot about greek/roman mythology which stuck with me)

So maybe something that can teach me about anciet japan, ww2 or literally anything random
