I recently read Demon Copperhead and Middlesex for the first time and enjoyed both. I am looking for books similar to these, with an engaging narrator, long span of time covered, and somewhat unique subject! Any suggestions much appreciated!

I loved both of those too! Here’s a few others I’ve also loved that fit your description:
– The Love Songs of W.E.B Du Bois by Honorée Fannone Jeffers. It’s a big one but so so worth it!
– House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende
– This Tender Land by William Kent Krueger
– The Mountains Sing by Nguyen Phan Que Mai
