Can anyone please suggest a light read? Lately I've only been reading deep, serious books and I want something light-just to take a break. It could involve a bit of romance too but not a cliched rom-com. I was thinking of reading A Man Called Ove, but is it sad/heartbreaking? In the past couple of months I have read: The Bell Jar, Eleanor Elephant is Completely Fine, The ABC Murders, The Endless Night and while I have enjoyed all of them, I now want something light and funny,

The Richard Osman Thursday Murder Club series is a light, fun read imho. His style of writing is still finding itself in the first book until the middle, but don’t let that put you off.
