“Yesterday I Was the Moon” by Noor Unnahar, it was a beautiful read & quietly unforgettable.

Specifically for “self reconnection” and “healing,” I’d recommend Rupi Kaur collections. Pretty modern poetry too so it’s not very intimidating

I loved Lullabies by Lang leav

My favorite poetry collections of the past few years were
Rangikura by Tayi Tibble
Promises of Gold by Jose Olivarez
These two are full of reflections on growing up, romance, family, healing…
The Tayi Tibble one is very much written from a feminine and the Olivarez one from a male perspective, but they’re both excellent.
