Hey, I have this small class where I teach 5 9~10 year olds about books. I'm making a new book list and I need some recommendations
Although my kids are 9~10, I've given them books for 11~12 year olds before and they seemed to be pretty good. I also hope that I can find some books with deep meaning. More than just a story, you know?
My kids especially enjoy books with a whimsical writing style. They LOVED pseudonymous bosch's the name of this book is secret. If one of you guys have a book in mind with a pretty funny writing style, please do tell me!
Any other writing style is also fine! At the end of the day, I'm just looking for some good books. Thank yooou
(oh and graphic novel recommendations are also fine!)

*The Eyes and the Impossible*
*Bunnicula*.
*Bartimaeus* ? This might be too scary.
Maybe *The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making*? I’d check it first to see if you think it’s appropriate. The main character has a brief encounter with two witches and a werewolf. One of the witches is married to him when he’s a man, the other when he’s a wolf. It’s pretty innocent, but some parents might not anything that reads like polyamory.
