Hi book fam!
I'm in need of a nonfiction book(s) in English that is about, or that includes, approaches and strategies and wisdom for a divorced parent (mother, if that matters) strengthening the relationship with own teenage kids in a shared custody situation.
I could go for psychology-based, or just a general relationships self-help.
Subtopics that might trigger a memory of a useful book you read:
– addressing divorce resentment and grief in teenage children
– addressing an ex whose actions and words paint a one-sided negative picture to the children about the other parent
– dealing with extended family of the ex who support the ex by trolling the other parent online
– approaches to helping the children learn to give a parent/person some grace
Urgently want to find a thoughtful book as a pre-companion to the therapy that is coming but won't begin for a while yet. I might not be able to reply to comments quickly or at all but thank you so much for whatever you may comment. It means a lot to me.
