Someone told me about a dead protagonist making a deal with the death to live longer and looking for a similar or the story its just sounds really interesting(also a book with the perspective of the death would be interesting)

Terry Pratchett included his character Death in all of his dozens of Discworld books. Sometimes the appearance is fleeting, but there are books where Death is the main character. Terry Pratchett was a unique author who wrote unique books, and his portrayal of Death is also unique.
