MLM books starring young adults/men (not teens) of colour?
Ideally a romance about the two leads. Can be cheesy, can be dark, can be funny, no specifically mood, just not starring anyone under the age of 20. Preferable age range is 20 – 30 but I don't mind anything beyond 30.
*Birth of a Dark Nation* by Rashid Darden is a vampire romance between two black men. I’d say it’s wish-fulfillment-y, but in a refreshing way, it’s so rare to read books about gay black men having their wishes fulfilled.
*The Sorcerer of the Wildeeps* by Kai Ashante Wilson is about a bisexual black man and his male lover, I believe they’re both adults. Sort of low fantasy set on a trade road.
Ed: Oh, you also might want to try the Dreamers series by Adriana Herrera, they’re contemporary romance about gay Latino men. The guy in the first one dates a white guy, but IDK about the sequels.
