Hey all! I've been searching for books that can help elevate me, but so far I've had no luck.
To clarify, I don't want any of the typical self-help books or the mindfulness books that don't help. I want to feed my mind with information that is helpful for my health and for my goals in life. For example, I've been having health issues so I recently purchased Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy, and I truly love it! The author provides evidence-based information that helps rather than use the internet for source.
I've searched online for books that can help motivate you, heal, etc, etc, but a lot of it is TikTok-based or self-help guided – and I truly just want something with a bit more scientific research or the author at least being credited for providing legitimate information. I have done the search myself but I'm unsure of which recommendation would be best, so I wanted to ask if anyone has any suggestions that truly helped them.
I'm not discrediting anyone who reads self help or motivational books, I've just tried that in the past and I want more to help branch off instead of feeling stuck while reading a self-help book, if that makes sense.
