Please help me generate a TBR list.
I am a woman in my 40s looking for book recommendations. I am usually drawn to fantasy, but I am open to other genres. As a school librarian, I would even be interested in middle grade titles.
Some books I have loved recently are: Cloud Cuckoo Land, Station Eleven, and The Martian.
Some of my favorite books of all time are: The War that Saved my Life, Brown Girl Dreaming, Heartwood: The Art of Living with the End in Mind, and Graceling.
Some books that I really didn’t like: Bel Canto, Cloud Atlas, All the Light We Cannot See, and The Midnight Library.
I think that I am pretty plot-driven when it comes to what I like; I give up on books that I find ‘boring’. I tried a cozy fantasy and I just couldn’t get into it because the stakes were so low.
