Ok so I have 5 Little Free Library boxes within walking distance. I never use them, as I just… don’t walk. And buy the books I want. But that is a me thing, and I know that.
So I did a bookshelf purge and headed out to drop some stuff off. I went to three boxes, and every one was stuffed to the brim with religious books and musty cookbooks.
I took 2 from each library that were straight garbage, (like black mold 70s garbage) and left books in exchange. The amount of religious clutter in each box was ridiculous.
If you have books to offload, please consider putting a few good ones in your local LFL. They got so much junk. And take it upon yourself to take a couple junk ones out. Recycle them and do the world a favor. People donate garbage because it feels wrong to throw away books. Please throw away some books. Thanks for reading and maybe helping ✌🏻
