I’m Indigenous and I like the idea of westerns and love Red Dead Redemption and that time period but I despise most of those books because they are very racist to Native Americans. I get “that’s the time period” but if it’s fiction then I don’t have to read something that dehumanizes me or my culture. Anything that’s not terribly racist you can think of?
