The Stand could be a good place to start. Top 5 for sure.
And go ahead and put the entire Dark Tower series as one of your selections on the top 10 list.

The Shining, Pet Cemetery, Misery. I’ve seen a lot of ppl like the 11/23/63 book.

I’d recommend one of his short story collections. He’s a horror writer, sure, but he writes much more than that. Reading Nightmares and Dreamscapes will give you a sense of his style and several story types to see what it is you like. And if you don’t like a story, you can just move on to the next. Then, you can look up which novel is most like the stories you liked.

I absolutely recommend starting with some shorts stories, so you can get the flow of his writing. Start with “Night Shift”. It’s a fun book and short. My favourites short stories in the book are “ Graveyard Shift” and “The Ledge”
