Used to be a fan of Readers Digest

Hi, used to be a fan of Readers Digest, then it was stopped in the UK. I guess I'm looking for a book along the lines of humour. (Not a readers digest publication – seen them). Humour which was small anecdotes or light reading or something. Or another question, what people who have had Readers Digest replaced it with?
