I've never been a big reader, but I decided I really wanted to start. One of the first books I picked up was Stephen King's 11/22/63, which I loved and immediately began rereading after finishing it the first time. Next was Fairy Tale, which I also adored. I would love to know your favorite non-horror Stephen King books and the order in which you would recommend reading them. I've also recently read Blake Crouch's Recursion and Dark Matter, and I’d welcome any other authors or books you think I should add to my reading list. Thanks so much!

I just read The Long Walk. Really enjoyed it. Pretty dark though. It’s classed as a dystopian horror, but I found it more suspenseful than anything. It was originally published under the pseudonym Richard Bachman. It will be released as a movie later this year. I think the only other non-horror of Stephen King’s I have read is Under the Dome. It was a while ago, but I think I enjoyed it. I have had Fairy Tale my TBR for a while.
