For me it's anything from Vonnegut. His style of writing makes me want to drop the book, call a friend and read him a paragraph. His artistry in weaving a sentence also makes me put the book down and just utter the words in my head, reveling on the fact that a human being came up with it. He surprises me constantly even on re-reads.

I love both Ray Bradbury and Wallace Stegner. Bradbury’s writing is very unique, almost verging on poetry but it’s something else. Stegner is just fantastic.
