(not self-promo and don't read it in the future) Its not a good book but I only read it cause I can't find novels that are similar enough to it. It's about Vincent (Vince) Marango, 16 in a East Hartford Suburb and has a personality probably similar to an introverted version of Nicole from Class of 09 with a bit 4chan edgelord vibe to him that scams 32 stupid kids into following a conspiracy club to exploit them for profit with a friend but it's more about how his mental health causes that and how his contrarian outlook on life isn't some anti-hero adventure like the 9/11 era world made it out to be but a mental health failing that came from his childhood.
I heard people say either less than zero or catcher in the Rye or something but it doesn't really feel like it fits. I am not shilling for the book so far, it's bad and especially a first draft designed for me but I do want to know if there's any stuff similar to it as I don't read much
