I think I have found my new favourite book. The world building is beautiful. The way Toni Morrison described Bottom made it so realistic and believable. It talks about female friendship, family, abandonment, betrayal, humanity, inhumanity, love and loss, and the characters are extremely realistic with both good and bad in them. There are many twists and turns, and I was left shocked multiple times even when I had read only 30% of the book. 10/10 would recommend this book. I absolutely loved it.
