So… I just read this short romance novella on Kindle called Saint Tropez – Nights You Will Never Forget by Paris Valérie Julien Étienne. It popped up in my Amazon recommendations, and I clicked on it thinking I’d read a cute summer fling story.
Uhm.
OH MY GOD I ATE IT.
I started it casually, and ended up on my floor. In silence. At 2 a.m.
It's one of those sensual, poetic slow burns where the chemistry is unreal but also—the emotions???
It's short (like 1 hour read), but somehow it manages to make you feel like you've just lived an entire relationship. The scenes in Saint-Tropez, the tension, the writing style… I can’t stop thinking about it.
And then it ENDS. Open. Quiet. Hopeful. And now I don’t know what to do with myself 😩
The author apparently writes in parts and this was the first one?? But how do you emotionally function while waiting for sequels?? Like… do I journal? Do I start a shrine? Do I re-read it with music on loop?
Anyone else here who’s read it or gone through the same with short romances that linger in your chest like that? Please give me coping strategies lol
P.S.: I may or may not have dreamt of drinking wine on a rooftop with someone named Paris. Send help.
