Start with Eric Larson or Jon Krakauer’s books. All non fiction that read like fiction.

Narrative nonfiction is a great place to start, as it will often be as captivating as fiction. Some authors in this vein that I love: David Grann, Krakauer (as another poster mentioned), Patrick Radden Keefe. You truly can’t go wrong with anything they write, but I’d start with The Wager (Grann), Say Nothing (PRK), or Into Thin Air (Krakauer).

For witty nonfiction on interesting, niche topics, Mary Roach is great. Fuzz is a fun one.

A short history of nearly everything by Bill Bryson. That is one of the best non fiction book that I have read.

    4. I don’t usually like biographies, but I do like a good memoir. Augusten Burroughs memoirs Running With Scissors, Toil and Trouble, and Dry I really enjoyed, but RWS and Dry were my favs
