I just finished 2 books, both I considered 5/5, and I’d like book suggestions in the same vein. The books were:
Crow Talk by Eileen Garvin
You Are Here by David Nicholls
I loved in Crow Talk, the depictions of the Pacific Northwest landscape and the inclusion of ornithological facts. I did very much relate to the characters and their feelings of loneliness, even when they are with others, and then the restorative quality of the natural landscape.
Similarly on You Are Here is about two lonely people who embark on a multiple day hike. They find solace by being in nature and learn to accept change.
So I guess what I like is stories about lonely people who find solace in nature. Any recommendations?
