Hey everyone! I’m in a bit of a book slump and could really use some good fantasy recs to pull me out of it. I’m currently reading The Poppy War and while I think it’s really well written, it’s been a slower read for me. I just finished the first book and I’m planning to take a break before continuing the series.
Some fantasy series I’ve read and loved:
Crowns of Nyaxia //// The Bridge Kingdom //// The Broken Kingdoms //// Saga of the Unfated (waiting for the second book to come to Libby or Kindle Unlimited) //// Artifacts of Ouranos / Trial of the Sun Queen //// Fourth Wing
So I tend to love fantasy with romance, strong female leads, tension, drama, and fast pacing. I’m definitely open to all kinds of fantasy though.
I also really enjoy watching Chinese dramas, especially the fantasy and historical ones. Especially if there are any books out there that give off similar vibes like court politics, forbidden love, reincarnation, cultivation, stuff like that!
